Co-founder of Perth’s first international game development studio, Interzone Entertainment, Robert J Spencer (better known online as Rj) is a game and digital media industry veteran with a wide range of strategic, production and development experience.
Before co-founding Interzone, Rj was Strategic Business Manager of BigWorld, where he worked with numerous developers around the world on a wide range of massively multiplayer online games. This continues his long association with online game development that started with a groundbreaking prototype in 1994. Robert has also launched and published three high quality computer games magazines and accompanying websites, including Australian PC Gamer and PC Games Plus, one of the first global magazines that was simultaneously published in the US, UK, Australia & Canada.
Professor Jeanette Hacket was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Curtin University of Technology in April 2006. Prior to this appointment she held the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor, a role that she had undertaken since 2004. Professor Hacket has a particular interest in international higher education and quality assurance and has undertaken numerous roles in international education leadership including Pro Vice-Chancellor International and Enterprise at Curtin University.
Professor Hacket holds undergraduate and masters degrees in law and a PhD in Strategic Management. She has worked as a legal practitioner and later as a legal academic with a particular interest in international law and health law.
Professor Hacket’s board memberships have included IDP Education Australia Ltd, IELTS Australia, Open Universities Australia and she is a council member of the Australian Qualifications Framework Advisory Board.
