INFINITE POSSIBILITIES, BOUNDLESS OPPORTUNITIES. Community of Minds.
By embracing our responsibilities and role in the future Technology Park Precinct we are transforming Waterford Plaza into a quality retail and lifestyle destination to service the diverse needs of a vibrant and innovative community.
Our development draws on the success of strip-style shopping experiences from around the world and includes a tree-lined alfresco dining area, a pedestrian friendly High Street and impressive central piazza.
The Bentley Technology Precinct Structure Plan has now been lodged with the City of South Perth and the Town of Victoria Park and is going through all the normal council approval processes.
We will let communityofminds people know on this blog site when the plans will be available for public comment. The Councils will also place advertisements providing that information in the paper and on their websites.
Thank you for all your input to date through this site and the community surveys, open days, dialogue cafes etc.
We look forward to your participation as the Precinct develops.
It was announced this morning that the winner of the iPod Nano, for filling out the Community Response Sheet, is Jean Edwards of Waterford. Jean was pleased to receive the prize and “excited about a Technology Precinct being developed in Australia. It is nice to see something finally happening.”
Sharon is intimately involved with the ICT industry and government sector.
As the Curtin University of Technology is a major stakeholder in the area, students at the University will also play an integral role in the redevelopment of the Bentley Technology Precinct. These vox pops capture the opinions of a number of students, both national and international, giving an insight into their view of the interacting role Curtin will play in the Bentley Technology Precinct.
